LASER FOR THERAPY?
Only soft laser is applied for therapy Compared to a traditional light bulb which emits a mixture of different colours of light , only one specific wavelength is used for laser. The different colours of normal light result from the different lengths of its waves which are measured in nanometers (nm). Soft laser applies almost exclusively the red light spectrum because the wave length of red light makes it possible to reach deeper layers of tissue which is necessary to stimulate certain acupuncture points. Green or blew light is reflected immediately by the surface of the skin which makes it useless for therapeutic purposes.

On the other hand the skin provides a “window” for red light to penetrate the surface and reach deeper layers, whereby it is not important if red or infra-red light is applied.
Dr. Nogier in France and his followers Bahr, Elias, Reininger- to mention just a few- found out, that infra-red light is more efficient if it is emitted in intervals, this is to say if it is virtually split like one switches the light on and off several times per second. The frequency of this switching on and off is measured in Hertz (Hz).
Areas of laser application:
To substantiate wound healing For tissue regeneration Pain relieving For pain-free acupuncture
